200 PKR Members Quit Johor Division, Led by Murugan

A total of 200 PKR members in Johor announced their departure to join MIC Iskandar Puteri, led by former PKR Johor deputy chair M Murugan, also known as Cikgu Rony. Murugan revealed that 350 members overall had quit, with some joining Umno, MCA, Bersama, while others left politics entirely. 

PKR Internal Strife Pushes 200 Indian Members Toward MIC

He stressed that the majority — 200 Indian members — chose MIC, citing disappointment with PKR’s leadership and internal disputes. Murugan highlighted irregularities in the 2025 party election, alleged manipulation via blockchain voting, and the abrupt cancellation of the Iskandar Puteri AGM as key triggers for his resignation.
