SEOUL, July 27, 2026 – A Malaysian man in his 20s was killed after being stabbed during a violent clash involving 10 foreign nationals in Eumseong District, North Chungcheong Province, early this morning, according to JoongAng Daily Police confirmed they have arrested another Malaysian, aged in his 40s, on suspicion of murder and other offences. The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim with a knife during the fight, which broke out around 3am local time in Daeso-eup.
Malaysian Killed
Authorities said the confrontation escalated between two groups before the suspect drew a knife and attacked. Another individual was injured and taken to hospital for treatment. The suspect fled to a nearby residence after the incident but was arrested about an hour later. Police are now questioning the suspect and other individuals involved to determine the circumstances of the fatal altercation. Investigations are ongoing.
