1 min read

Indonesian police have arrested a man for abandoning his pregnant wife, who later died, in a sugar cane plantation after an argument. The 29-year-old woman had requested her husband to take her to meet someone in Kediri, East Java, on March 26.

During the journey, the couple had an argument, and the husband allegedly accelerated, causing the wife to fall off the motorbike. Despite her being unconscious, he tied her jacket to keep her upright and placed his helmet on her head.
