Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu) has taken disciplinary action against six of its leaders, expelling two state assemblymen and suspending four others with immediate effect. According to a notice issued by Bersatu’s Disciplinary Board chairman Mohd Radzi Manan, Suka Menanti assemblyman Dzowahir Ab Ghani and Sungai Tiang assemblyman Abdul Razak Khamis were expelled under Clause 22.5 of the party constitution for breaching Clause 9.1.4 and the party’s code of ethics.
Bersatu Expels
Four other leaders, including MPs from Tanah Merah, Rompin, and Lumut, as well as Chenderoh assemblyman Syed Lukman Hakim, were suspended for two election terms. All affected individuals may appeal within 14 days.
