A restaurant in Changlun, accused of selling lamb curry at exorbitant prices, received a notice from authorities. The notice was issued by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDN) Kedah during an inspection.
Changlun Restaurant Receives Notice for Exorbitant Lamb Curry Prices
KPDN Kedah Director, Muhammad Nizam Jamaludin, said a Facebook post claimed the restaurant sold lamb curry at unreasonable prices. Following this, KPDN officers inspected the premises and found the menu and prices displayed.
The restaurant was given a written notice under Section 21 of the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011. The owner must provide cost and pricing information within six working days.
