CNN has obtained and released an audio recording in which former U.S. President Donald Trump allegedly threatened to bomb Moscow if Russia invaded Ukraine. Speaking to donors in 2024, Trump reportedly warned President Putin, saying he would “bomb the sh*t out of Moscow.”

Trump also claimed to have made a similar threat to China, warning Beijing against attacking Taiwan. President Xi allegedly responded by calling Trump “crazy.” The Trump campaign declined to comment on the audio.
While China has not responded publicly, Russia said it could not confirm the recording’s authenticity, with Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov citing widespread fake news.
