Kuala Selangor police confirmed they are investigating a viral video showing a group of cyclists obstructing a bus on KM23, Jalan Kuala Selangor–Kuala Lumpur, around 9:35 AM on July 6.
Cyclists Under Investigation for Obstructing Bus on Busy Highway
No formal police report was filed, but the video circulated widely on social media. Police Chief Superintendent Azaharudin Bin Tajudin stated the cyclists were seen blocking the left lane, forcing the bus driver to stop and confront them.
Rapid Bus confirmed their driver’s action. The case is being probed under the Road Traffic Rules 1959 for obstruction. No accidents occurred, and police urge witnesses to come forward with information.
