Skudai assemblywoman Marina Ibrahim has announced her decision to withdraw from politics, choosing instead to return to community work. In a heartfelt statement, she said the decision came after discussions with close supporters and reflected her desire to continue serving society outside the political arena.

Marina, who entered politics four years ago, thanked her team and constituents for their trust and support, acknowledging shortcomings during her tenure. “Berakhirnya satu babak bukan bermakna berakhirnya khidmat,” she said, pledging to remain active in grassroots initiatives until a successor is appointed. She also offered apologies for any weaknesses during her service.
