Netizen’s Controversial Opinion: Elderly Should NOT Access Online Banking in Lieu of Scams

The rise of elders being scammed out of their money has been a topic discussed among social media users. An X user boldly states that elderly individuals should not have full access to their banking accounts as they may fall prey to scams which are rife in this country. 

Elderly should not access online banking in lieu of scams

Apparently, pressing on random links may lead to some information being taken from a user. An X user warned others that their parents went through something like that. Another then adds that his parents have limited access as he would be the one helping them withdraw or deposit their cash. 

Others complained that this could lead to several inconveniences. Their relatives had done something similar, now their aunts are pestering them nearly everyday asking if they could help them order some of the items they want.
