Immigration Reveals Forest Hideouts of Escaped Detainee
Selangor Police Chief Datuk Shazeli Kahar confirmed Hassan was recaptured on 18 April through coordinated efforts involving multiple agencies. Immigration Director‑General Datuk Zakaria Shaaban revealed Hassan evaded capture by hiding in forested areas, surviving with stolen clothes and construction site shelter. Authorities reminded the public not to harbour undocumented immigrants, warning of strict legal consequences.
