The state of Johor is looking into the idea of offering ferry services between Singapore and Puteri Harbour International Terminal.
Johor Chief Minister Onn Hafiz Ghazi stated in a statement that the terminal is a significant international entrance point that improves access for tourists to come to Johor.
He pointed out that in 2022, Malaysian real estate developer UEM Sunrise’s ferry services carried over 141,000 tourists from Indonesia’s Batam and Tanjung Balai to Puteri terminal.
