Former Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob will be questioned again by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) on Wednesday regarding corruption and money laundering allegations. MACC Chief Tan Sri Azam Baki confirmed that Ismail Sabri is a suspect in the investigation involving RM700 million in government advertising and promotional funds under the Keluarga Malaysia agenda. The probe began last year, with 31 witnesses already questioned. Authorities have seized RM170 million in cash and gold bars worth nearly RM7 million, while four of Ismail Sabri’s former officers have been arrested. The investigation is ongoing. The MACC held a presser today, displaying the sum of money seized for the media to see.
