Khairy Jamaluddin has officially rejoined UMNO after the party’s Supreme Council accepted his appeal under the Rumah Bangsa initiative. In an Instagram post, the former UMNO Youth Chief wrote, “I’m home,” following the decision announced on Thursday night.

Khairy, along with Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein and Tan Sri Syed Hamid Albar, was among 6,252 former leaders and members reinstated. He thanked UMNO President Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi and the council for approving his return. Khairy, also a former Health Minister, said he was grateful for the chance to continue serving religion, race, and nation.
