The Negeri Sembilan state government continues to function as usual despite 14 Barisan Nasional (BN) assemblymen withdrawing support for Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun. Transport Minister Anthony Loke confirmed that UMNO’s central leadership remains committed to the Unity Government, ensuring stability in the state administration.

He noted that UMNO’s Political Bureau and its president had clearly stated opposition to forming a new government or pursuing “tebuk atap” politics. Speaking at a forum in Kuala Lumpur, Loke emphasized the importance of clarifying the situation to the public to ease tensions and maintain confidence in the state’s governance.
