If convicted, he faces up to five years in jail, a fine, or both. Police also confirmed he is assisting in a separate probe into a video showing a person stepping on a Quran, believed to have been filmed on a public bus. On March 7, police ordered Meta to disable access to the offensive content. Authorities stressed they take threats to racial and religious harmony seriously.
