Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu secretly visited the United Arab Emirates amid the ongoing Israel‑US war with Iran, his office confirmed. Netanyahu met UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, with the talks described as a “historic breakthrough” in bilateral relations. 

UAE Faces Iranian Missile Threats Despite Ceasefire

The visit followed U.S. confirmation that Israel deployed Iron Dome systems and personnel to the Emirates, underscoring deepening military cooperation. 

The UAE, targeted by Iranian missiles and drones, has sought to reassure investors of its stability. Relations between Israel and the UAE, normalized under the 2020 Abraham Accords, have strengthened during the conflict despite Iran’s criticism.
