There are several things that Syed Saddiq does on X that make netizens unsettled. However, this is one of the cases that seem to be for a genuinely positive cause. Local born Malaysians who are of mixed heritage are denied citizenship status. Some state that this is due to one of their parents not being Malaysian.
Syed Saddiq called out by netizen
A netizen states that there are a number who were helped in getting their blue ICs. However, that is the only thing done by politicians like Syed Saddiq. The system is still very complicated and would need constant help from politicians for publicity.
His statement claiming that politicians should not dirty up politics is infuriating Malaysians even more. They state that he attempted and failed to sabotage a number of the coalition government’s seats during the last state elections. It seems that netizens are not forgiving of his very recent actions.
