Netizens Now AGREEING that Government SHOULD Maintain Malay as Language of Communication

The recent discussion on the government agencies not particularly communicating in English has started a discourse on X. This is due to the fact that PM Anwar made a statement yesterday regarding this. He states that official documents to and from the government should be in Malay.

Most X users are stating that government agencies should communicate in Malay. They state that the formal Malay language is getting used less frequently. Netizens feel that Malaysians should be able to communicate among each other in formal Malay. 

Following that, users state that sending official letters to Putrajaya would not need the highest level of proficiency. They state that those working with companies dealing with our country’s government should be able to speak Malay.
