Several Pakatan Harapan (PH) MPs have urged Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim not to nominate a senior judge allegedly linked to claims of judicial interference for any top judicial post. During a closed-door meeting at the PM’s official residence, Anwar reportedly said the final decision lies with the Conference of Rulers and did not reveal the list of proposed candidates.

Some sources claimed the controversial judge is not included. The meeting also addressed the leaked minutes of the Judicial Appointments Committee (JAC), which allegedly support earlier claims of interference. Police are now investigating the leak under the Official Secrets Act (OSA).
