PETALING JAYA: Johor Umno Youth has rebuked PKR and Amanah leaders for prematurely staking claims on parliamentary and state seats ahead of upcoming polls. Its chief Noor Azleen Ambros said their “restless and greedy” attitude showed insensitivity to people’s struggles with daily challenges. He urged leaders of ruling parties to prioritise governance over power plays, stressing that public scrutiny of government performance was growing. PKR recently announced plans to contest Muar, Pagoh and Mersing, while Amanah signalled its interest in 12 to 20 state seats. Johor Umno insisted it would not be trapped by such politicking.
