Negeri Sembilan Menteri Besar Aminuddin Harun has hinted at the possibility of a snap state election, urging residents to be prepared. His remarks follow dissatisfaction among 14 UMNO assemblymen over recent decisions made during the Unity Government’s leadership council meeting.

Speaking at a Pakatan Harapan (PH) rally in Seremban, Aminuddin said ongoing statements from UMNO leaders suggested deeper discontent, adding that he too felt “wounded.” The rally, attended by PH leaders Saifuddin Nasution, Anthony Loke, and Mohamad Sabu, drew hundreds of supporters. The crisis has so far ended with renewed commitments from PH and BN to support Aminuddin’s administration.
