Bersatu vice-president Ahmad Faizal Azumu has described PKR’s internal analysis labelling Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s Tambun constituency as “marginal” as “rude.” The Malaysiakini report prompted Faizal, who lost Tambun to Anwar in GE15, to sarcastically remark that residents are prospering under a “God-given leader” and would not miss Anwar if he left.

He accused Anwar of “seat hopping,” citing his moves from Permatang Pauh to Port Dickson and then in Perak, and claimed locals rarely see him. Faizal’s comments highlight political tension over Anwar’s seat security ahead of GE16.
