After the state elections, we can see slight growth in our opposition numbers. Furthermore, the states that are “green” are still maintaining their green status. Now it seems that netizens are stating that Malaysians prefer politicians that curse, swear, and throw accusations left and right.

An X user states that many Malaysians love to cite foreign politicians. However, if we ever get someone similar to them, they would never approve of their ideas and innovation. The user then adds that it is a growing concern as to half of the country is supporting a political party with no clear agenda on what they would want to do.
Others state that Malaysians are becoming more vulgar, especially on social media. This is concerning to them as 20 years ago, sights like that were extremely rare. However, some blame these politicians for instigating this new “maki” culture among us.
