Iconic Malaysian pop group KRU has reunited after six years to release a new single, Voodoo, marking their return to the music scene. Known for chart-topping hits in the 90s and early 2000s, the trio—Norman, Yusry, and Edry—incorporated cutting-edge technology into their latest project, becoming the first Malaysian act to use AI to create digital twins for their music video. The video features AI-generated boyband versions of the members in a 1990s secret laboratory setting. Voodoo is the lead track from their upcoming album Kaset, and the group plans a 2025 concert tour.
