Trusting her, Kevin invested RM10,500, followed by his entire retirement savings of RM207,000, hoping for a new life together. When Linda claimed their accounts were blocked and demanded more money, Kevin refused. She cut off all contact, deleted their conversations, and disappeared. Heartbroken and financially devastated, Kevin lodged a police report, having lost RM217,500 to the scam.
