Socks controversy: KK boss and wife pleads not guilty now

In Shah Alam, the founders of KK Mart and three directors of a distributing company pleaded not guilty in court to charges related to the sale of socks printed with the word ‘Allah’ two weeks ago. The accused, including Datuk Seri Chai Kee Kan and Datin Seri Loh Siew Mui, entered their pleas after the charges were read in English before Judge Muhamad Anas Mahadzi.

Socks Controversy in court

Allegedly, they displayed the socks at a KK Mart branch in Bandar Sunway, Subang Jaya, violating Section 298 of the Penal Code. Bail was set at RM10,000 for each individual, with a remention date scheduled for April 29.
