Netizens are up in arms once again against the PAS-led government in Terengganu for a blanket ban of both Muslim and non-Muslim hair saloons in the state, saying it will impact business while some say there should be a special decree allowing unisex saloons for non-Muslims.

On on Dec 1, the Terengganu government says it is sticking to the ban. “The #Terengganu government is sticking to its ban on #unisex hair salons in the state and operators who flout the gender-segregation licensing regulation will incur a fine of between RM500 and RM1,000.”
“Muslim males who support this should not have stewardess serving them in the plane, should not have their clothes ironed by women, should not have their meals cooked by female, should not wear clothes sewn by ladies,” says a Twitter user. See below:
