Luxury malls in Malaysia would typically charge users more for parking. This has always been the case with malls like Suria KLCC, Pavilion Bukit Bintang, The Gardens mall and now The Exchange TRX. Some of these malls even offer paid toilets, where they could reach up to RM5. So, is it really a surprise then?
The Exchange TRX’s expensive parking rates
Netizens state that malls like Mid Valley Megamall have affordable parking, around RM2-3 an hour. A stark contrast to these luxury malls, whilst being near a luxury mall, The Gardens. Furthermore, they state that Midvalley has the features of these luxury malls for their car parks.
However, some explained that for the average Malaysian, the parking rates can be quite outrageous. Furthermore, if someone works there or has to go there for a business meeting, it would cost a lot. Preparing RM15 just to leave your car in a mall is rather crazy to some.
