KUALA LUMPUR – Tow truck services are expected to be disrupted for three days starting tomorrow as operators launch a strike demanding diesel subsidies. Zurich Takaful warned the Klang Valley will be most affected, with possible impact across other states. Customers may need to arrange third-party tow trucks, with reimbursements available.

Persatuan Wakil Takaful Am Muslim (Perwatam) president Datuk Khairi Anuar Ahmad urged the government to improve subsidy mechanisms and called on insurers to revise payment rates, saying current tariffs fail to reflect operating costs. He warned delays and safety risks could worsen without immediate policy action.
