A woman was left shocked after discovering two tyres missing from her car at the LRT3 Bukit Tinggi parking area. Nani, who shared her ordeal on Threads, said she had parked her vehicle in the morning, paid RM5 for parking, and returned after work to find the theft.
The culprits had removed two tyres and even attempted to take a third, leaving visible damage to the front‑left screw and nut.
PDRM Report Filed After LRT3 Parking Lot Theft
Nani clarified that her car had standard rims and the viral image showing an open door was unrelated to the theft, as she had opened it earlier to place items inside. She added that while her car was equipped with a dashcam, it did not record continuously.
Upon discovering the theft, Nani immediately reported the incident to RapidKL staff, who documented the case and advised her to lodge a police report.
Auxiliary police later arrived at the scene, and she subsequently filed a report with the PDRM. The total cost of damage and replacement tyres remains unclear.
Nani questioned the adequacy of security at the parking facility, stressing that motorists deserve proper monitoring when paying for parking. Her experience serves as a reminder for regular commuters to remain vigilant and take precautions.
