KOTA BHARU: Former Umno secretary-general Tan Sri Annuar Musa has alleged that the party is no longer driven by grassroots voices but is being controlled by external forces. Reacting to Tengku Zafrul Abdul Aziz’s departure from Umno, Annuar claimed the move was pre-arranged with party leadership, revealing that even internal dissent is now “managed” strategically. He said Umno’s current direction is dictated by a “script” prepared by outside influences, sarcastically referring to a shadowy figure as “Cikgu.” According to Annuar, major decisions, including party assemblies and alliances, are no longer made independently but follow predetermined external instructions, wrote Harakah Daily.
