PETALING JAYA – A woman was killed and seven others injured in a five-vehicle collision in Lahad Datu, Sabah, on Saturday evening. The accident involved a lorry, two cars, a motorcycle, and an excavator at a Pan Borneo Highway construction site.

Lahad Datu fire chief Sumsoa Rashid confirmed one woman died at the scene, while others were hospitalized. In a separate incident near Hakka Hall, Kota Kinabalu, one person died and five were injured when a Toyota Hilux veered off Signal Hill Park Road and fell into a ditch late Friday night.
