Eighteen children rescued from a welfare home in Cheras are now under the temporary care of the Social Welfare Department (JKM). Selangor JKM is tracing their families to return them to qualified guardians after investigations.

The welfare home was shut down following reports of mistreatment. Selangor is drafting a Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) policy to enhance inclusivity, including employment opportunities for the disabled. 

Rising HIV cases among students prompted collaboration with authorities for advocacy and prevention. Anfaal Saari highlighted the importance of addressing social issues, aiming for a holistic approach to welfare, health, and inclusivity in the state.
