According to Simple Flying, despite the prior warnings, the airline failed to respond on time, prompting concerns over internal oversight. These findings, revealed after a separate crash involving a Boeing 787, highlight broader systemic issues within the national carrier.
The DGCA’s report criticized the airline’s alleged weak procedural controls and noted the “suspended” status of aircraft airworthiness. With a large fleet and backlog of Airbus orders, the revelations cast doubt on the airline’s safety culture and crisis management.
