KUALA LUMPUR, May 5 — The Education Ministry has denied allegations that several top SPM scorers were excluded from the matriculation programme, stressing that all eligible students with 10A results had already received offers. Deputy Education Minister Wong Kah Woh said claims made by MCA president Wee Ka Siong were inaccurate and without basis.

Wee had alleged that at least 11 high-achieving students were denied admission under the Madani government. Wong said he challenged Wee to submit the students’ details for verification. On May 4, Wee reportedly stated that all 11 students later secured matriculation placements following MCA’s intervention efforts.
