Towards the end of last year, there were numerous debates regarding the Christmas celebrations in Malaysia. There were religious agencies stating that Muslims are not allowed to even attend these celebrations, which made netizens vehemently upset.

Fatwa guidelines on Muslims and Christmas celebrations making netizens unhappy 

Netizens add that when there’s another festive season happening, there will be uncomfortable conversations discussed on social media. Many feel that in 2025, we should not behave this way and treat others with respect. 

Another user states that some of the people are stuck in the stone ages with such mindsets. They are questioning the elected leaders of certain states.
