Johor Polls: PH billboards now allegedly vandalised

1 min read

PASIR RAJA – Political tensions in Johor escalated after Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Fakharuddin Moslim reported vandalism of his campaign billboards. Rocks were thrown and parts torn apart, prompting him to lodge a police report. While Fakharuddin insisted the incident would not dampen his resolve, some netizens accused PH of staging the vandalism to gain sympathy.

Similar cases have surfaced, including damaged PH flags in Pengerang and placards discarded in drains in Kluang. Analysts warn that such acts, whether sabotage or isolated mischief, risk eroding public trust as Johor’s closely watched state election nears polling day.
