PAGOH – Bersatu president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin stressed that he will not instruct party members to vote for other parties in constituencies not contested by Perikatan Nasional (PN) during the Johor state election. He said Bersatu’s principle is straightforward: supporters should back PN candidates only.
Gentleman Muhyiddin
Muhyiddin explained that unlike PAS, which directed members to support Barisan Nasional (BN) in non-PN seats, Bersatu will not adopt such a strategy. He added that voting decisions ultimately rest with individuals based on their political preferences. PN’s focus, he said, remains on ensuring strong support for its candidates in contested seats.
