KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 22 — A late-night enforcement operation by the Road Transport Department (JPJ) in Rawang turned hostile when officers were attacked with firecrackers by a group of motorcyclists. The incident occurred around 10pm near the LATAR–Tasik Puteri area, after JPJ stopped a rider and passenger without helmets. Checks revealed multiple offences, including no licence, expired road tax, and lack of insurance.
