Police are expected to wrap up their probe into the murder of a woman, said to have been allegedly beaten by her YouTuber boyfriend, but police have extended the remand order for the YouTuber influencer by another 5 days.

Southwest district police head Superintendent Kamarul Rizal Jenal says that the investigation papers are scheduled to be sent to the Deputy Public Prosecutor’s Office this week for further action. The woman was sent to a hospital where doctors found bruises indicating severe beating.

“We have obtained a five-day remand extension against the four men detained earlier, until this Friday. We are wrapping up our probe and expect to hand over the IP to the DPP’s Office before the remand order expires,” he said to New Straits Times.
