Malaysia’s national squad excelled at the World Muaythai Championships in Patras, Greece, securing two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal in the Under-23 category.

Angie Yan Jia Chi defended her title in the Wai Kru art category with a stellar performance, while Asyraf Danial Abdul Latif clinched another gold. Myra Arina Roslan-Jezzevelle Myora and Damia Husna Azian contributed silver medals, and Nur Amisha Azrilrizal earned bronze.

Malaysian Muaythai Association President Datuk Muhammad Shahnaz Azmi praised the team’s 11th place finish out of 93 countries and highlighted preparations for the 2025 SEA Games and Muaythai’s journey towards inclusion in the Olympics.
