Malaysian Dancesport Team Wins Gold at 2024 London Open

The Malaysian dancesport team excelled at the 2024 London Open Championship, winning two gold medals. Cherry Yeo triumphed in the adult women’s Latin solo event, while Madeleine Lau dominated the junior women’s Latin solo category, showcasing their exceptional talent. Cherry’s win propelled her to second in the world rankings, and Madeleine now ranks fourth among juniors. The Malaysia DanceSport Federation credited the athletes’ success to the unwavering support and expertise of coaches Chua Zjen Fong and Evon Chong from MY DanceSport Academy. The championship featured competitors from 25 countries, highlighting the impressive achievements of the Malaysian team.
