Malaysian Told to Come to Singapore for Job Interview Now Vents Anger after Being REJECTED

Typically, when a company is serious in hiring an individual, they would ask for a face to face meetup. However, an unfortunate individual was told to cross the border to Singapore but was told later on, the person was rejected. Most users agree that this entire meeting could’ve been done on Facetime.

In addition to this, X users discuss the potential scammer companies that could entice individuals who are less cautious with their situation. They say that some of these companies would have a similar modus operandi. 

Others state that racial preference in our neighboring country is prohibited and that it is illegal to hire someone on racial preference. This is in lieu of the representative informing the applicant that the individual’s race is not what they’re looking for.
