Muda will convene a party meeting to decide on his presidency. Despite a seven-year jail term, two strokes of the rotan, and a RM10 million fine, the court granted a stay on the sentence pending appeal. Lead counsel Gobind Singh Deo emphasized Syed Saddiq’s consistent innocence plea.
