Orang Asli Villager Finds Missing Hiker Jaslinda Weak and Crying

TAPAH, June 6 – A 55‑year‑old Orang Asli villager, Nazri Bah Eng, discovered missing hiker Jaslinda Saludin, 49, in a weak and distressed state near Kampung Orang Asli Lubuk Gaharu yesterday. Nazri said Jaslinda was “staggering and crying” while carrying a plastic bag containing mushrooms and other plants.

He and his family brought her to the village head’s house, gave her food and water, and alerted authorities. Jaslinda was later taken to Tapah Hospital. She expressed gratitude to rescuers and Malaysians for their prayers, saying: “Thank you, I’m sorry for troubling everyone.”
