KUALA LUMPUR — PKR Youth has strongly rejected allegations that the party is merely following the dictates of its coalition partner, DAP. PKR Youth chief Muhammad Kamil Abdul Munim challenged critics to identify specific demands that PKR had supposedly yielded to, insisting such accusations lacked evidence.

He argued that the government’s implementation of difficult reforms, including targeted subsidy rationalisation, demonstrated political courage and independent decision-making. According to Kamil, many issues now being addressed had been debated for decades, but previous administrations lacked the resolve to carry out meaningful changes. He said the reforms reflected leadership, not political subservience.
