Proton New Energy Technology (Pro-Net) and EV Connection (EVC) have launched a profit-sharing initiative to install free EV chargers in 100 condominiums under the Pro-Net x EVC Condominium EV Charging Infrastructure Programme. The chargers, including installation and compliance costs, come at no expense to management, with profits shared between EVC and the property. Charging fees for Proton e.MAS-branded AC chargers are set at RM0.70 per kWh, significantly lower than the market average. Starting January, Proton e.MAS 7 owners will enjoy a further 10% discount at these and existing JomCharge locations, as the vehicle launches with an expected RM120,000 price tag.
