PUTRA targets 5 seats in Malacca polls

Parti Bumiputera Perkasa Malaysia (PUTRA) made its debut fielding five candidates in the Malacca State Elections with a focus on seats in several State Assembly (DUN) constituencies which are expected to be able to attract the support of voters, especially the Malays.

Melaka PUTRA Liaison Chairman, Dr Aluwi Sari, 55 will contest in the Pengkalan Batu state seat followed by the state PUTRA Chief Hero, Mohamad Hashidi Mohd Zin, 32 (Paya Rumput); Nazatul Asyraf Md Dom, 38 (Sungai Rambai); PUTRA Melaka Women’s Bureau Chief, Laila Norinda Maon, 44 (Gadek) and PUTRA Melaka Division Chief, Mohd Faizal Amzah (Duyong).

“All candidates selected are from the professional and corporate groups as well as the age of all candidates who are seen as very balanced and suitable to be elected representatives,” says Datuk Ibrahim Ali.
