Just recently, according to Sin Chew Daily, a Singaporean interracial couple was reportedly spat on while walking around at a shopping mall. As the couple was holding hands, walking out from a famous clothing store in the shopping mall, a Singaporean Chinese walked towards them and spat on them.

“This Chinese man who looked like he’s in 20s walked over to us and spat at us. I’ve never met this man in my entire life and was shocked when he did that”, the man said, an indian Singaporean named Joseph.

As the whole ordeal happened so quickly, he wasn’t able to react until his girlfriend shouted at the Chinese man with profanities. It was only then that he realised he was spat on. Before the Chinese man left, he exclaimed “He doesn’t deserve to date a Chinese girl”.
