Seputeh MP Teresa Kok has criticized PAS Selangor Youth for what she described as “envy and obsession” over the Rain Rave Water Music Festival 2026 held in Bukit Bintang last week. Defending Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Tiong King Sing, Kok said the festival attracted 180,000 visitors and generated RM200 million in economic spillover for local businesses.

“This is a major success for the tourism sector, which PAS seems unable to digest,” she said. Kok also accused PAS Youth of acting like “moral police” and urged them to focus instead on restoring Langkawi’s image under Kedah MB Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor.
